MOUNT ALBERT CLUB.
Tho official opening of the Mount Albert Bowling Club took place this afternoon, visiting players and ladies being welcomed by Mr. A. F. Humphries, tlie president. There was a large attendance. Mr. A. Witten, representing the executive of the Auckland Centre, congratulated the club and wished it every success during the season. Mrs. Humphries was then called upon to throw the jack, after which the president declared the green open for the season. During the tea adjournment Mr. M S. Richards, M.P., patron of the club, made congratulatory remarks, and also wished the club success. Following are results of matches played : Tomlinson, Wells, Asliton, T. Maxwell 24, v.
