A WEE WEATHER MAN.
Some of Hie common, sea weeds to be found on almost all beaches grow ill the form of broad and rather long leaves. Wlien they are wet the leaves feel just like a piece of intjia rubber, and they are soft and easy to cut. From a piece of this seaweed cut out the figure of a little man two or three inches high. It is quit? easy to cut the head, arms and legs with scissors. 1 hen stand your wee man in a sunny winilow so that it will get as dry. as possible. You will now have a most amusing weather-teller which you can take home with you. When the weather is going to be line and, dry the figure will be almost as 'stiff as' a board. At the coming of a change the man will begin to get soft, whilst when rain is very near, lie will be so limp that you would have a job to get him to stand even if propped up.
