Miss Audrey Johnson contributed "To a Miniature," overtures were given by Mr. Pickering's pupils and an amusing item, entitled "Drummer Boy," by Alfred Webb. The quaint costumes worn by the children excited much interest, and the outstanding feature of the programme was the playlet, "Awakening Chorus," acted by the senior girls, with Mrs. Noble as soloist. The concert concluded with the "Good-Night Chorus," the words and music of which were written for the occasion by Mrs. Vincent. The Henderson School Committee held an old-time dance and card tournament in the Town Hall on Wednesday night, in aid of the school funds. About 100 persons were present. The winners of the tournament were Mrs. Harris 1, Mrs. S. Cossey 2, and a Monte Carlo was won by Mr. Bennett and Miss Leslie.
