ITALIAN EXECUTION.
Slayer and Violator of Women Meets Firing Squad. ANGRY CROWD OF WITNESSES.
(Received 11.30 a.m.) ROME, October 13. A crowd of 1000 people waited all night at Sarazana to see the execution of Cezare Scrviatti, who was sentenced to death for murdering three women and dismembering their bodies, after he had secured their savings under promise of marriage. Serviatti wore a long white shirt and was made to sit straddled on a chair with his back to the firing party of 24 policemen, whose volley blew the top of his head off. Immediately afterwards the crowd rushed to get nearer the body and vainly tried to break the cordon of carabineers and militia round the firing part}-.
