Bitchener, to make I tlio Western llutt Road an alternative i outlet from Wellington to Wairarapa. | The Minister said he had inspected the road and was in sympathy with the I deputation. The total cost of file work would be £139,000, and he understood J it would take two years to complete, j He would get in touch with the Uncm- j ployment Board, and if it were favour- | ably inclined to the scheme, he would have no hesitation in taking the matter I to the Cabinet.
