WOOL SALES AMD EXPORTS.
DOMINION INCREASES.
The wool market in the Dominion has reacted to the improvement in prices in London, with the result that tho offerings and sales during tho hist three months, ns well as the shipments overseas, arc well in excess of those for the corresponding period of last year. This means that tho quantity of wool held over in New Zealand at the end of tile 1032-33 season, which was well below that in hand at June 30, 1032, has been still further reduced, to the probable betterment of prospects for the new clip. During September, 6921 bales of wool were offered in the Dominion, 6588 bales being sold. For the three months of the 1933-34 season to September 30. according to returns comniled by Dalget.v and Company, Ltd., 24,037 bales were offered, and 23.005 bales were sold, compared with only 4378 bales offered, and 4205 bales sold during tho corresponding period of last year. Exports of wool from N"ew Zealand last month were 25.257 bales. For the tlire" months ended September 30 exnorts totalled 76.064 bales, compared with 59.635 bales for the ccrresnonding period of last year, an increase 16,409 bales.
