SEDDON LIBERALS.
Addresses by Mrs. Moleswortli, JJ\, on the subject of "Woman s Place I" * optics," and Mr. A. Hall Skelton on Ihe Political and Economic History ot Aew Zealand," were given to a large gathering from the surrounding districts at Brown s Bay on Wednesday. Both speakers answered a large number of questions, ihe meeting passed resolutions disapproving of the Reserve Bank Bill, and congratulating Mr. Shacklock, a Lyttelton elector, upon bringing before the public the fact that no mandate was ever given Parliament for prolonging its life at the last election, and declaring such an action bj Parliament unconstitutional Mr. J. Rennie was chairman.
