BURGLAR IN EPSOM.

After breaking a pane of glass in a French window at the home of Mr. J. G. Haddow, 21, Owen's Road, Epsom, a thief on Thursday evening ransacked the house and stole a gold wristlet watch and a bracelet. The thefts were discovered when Mr. and Mrs. Haddow returned home about 11.30. Two desks, one in Mr. Haddow's study and the other in the hall, were forced open, but no valuables were found. The watch was taken from a dressing table and the bracelet fxom-a.-dra.wer.
