WASHOUTS IN NORTH.

KAWENE-KAIKOHE ROUTE.

Two washouts have been reported by the Northern patrol of the Automobile Association on the road between Rawene and Kaikohe. Both are on the Raweti;? side of the Waima Hill. It was considered after a survey that the washouts would not prove dangerous to motorists, provided they drive carefully and slowly -past the parts affected. Traffic should not be interrupted if these precautions are taken.
