ST. GEORGE WIN.

NBYV PLYMOUTH, Saturday. The St. George (Sydney) League team com plot ed its tour to-day by rlpfeatins Tnranaki by 22 points to 14. The game was disappointing, in that the visitors were weakened by injuries, and the Taranaki backs failed to stiow up on attack, lacking the visitors' combination. The first spell ended with the score sis all, but with the wind in the second spell, St. George made the most of their opportunities, throwing the ball about well and giving their speedy three-quarters plenty of chances. For the visitors, Martin, Brennan (two). Rice. Sprouster, and Killiby scored, Ward and Killiby converting one each. For Taranaki, Fraser, Lewis, McLeay, and Coles scored, Fraser converting one.
