DEFENCE COMMITTEE.
MR. SAMUEL'S NAME OMITTED
(By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.)
WELLINGTON, Friday,
The omission of the name of Mr. A. M. Samuel from the personnel of the Defence Committee appointed by the Government was brought to the notice of the Prime Minister by Mr. W. J. Jordan (Labour, Manukau) in the House of Representatives to-day.
Mr. Jordan said that Mr. Samuel, with his long military service and experience, had in the past proved a useful member of the committee. He recalled that last year a similar omission was rectified.
The Prime Minister undertook to look into the matter.
