SUDDEN COLLAPSE.

YOUNG WOMAN AT TE KUITI.

COMPLAINED OF PAIN IN HEAD.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)

TE KUITI, this day.

The death occurred with tragic suddenness last evening of Miss Phyllis Dean, aged 18 years, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Dean. She was clearing away the dishes after the evening meal when Blie suddenly exclaimed about a pain in her head and collapsed. Drs. Isaac and De Castro were quickly summoned, but the patient was beyond aid. She had seemed to be in her usual health.

Misa Dean was of a bright and jovial disposition and was a general favourite among a large circle of friends. She was eecretary to the Methodist Young Women's Bible Class.
