JAPANESE COMPETITION.
| Your correspondent "Awake" in your issue of the 29th nit. reminds me of the old adage "They who live in glasshouses should not throw stones." Does he realise that if wc do not trade with the nations they may send their goods on the point of the bayonet or drop them from a hostile aeroplane? Then lie would be able to sign himself "Wide Awake." PIONEER.
