SUDDEN DEATH.
NORTH AUCKLAND RESIDENT.
DUE TO PTOMAINE POISONING ? (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Monday. The death occurred suddenly at the Kawakawa Hospital on. Sunday of Mr. Henry Jackson, of Kaikohe, aged 81 years. He appeared to be in the best of health early on Saturday morning, but took ill about 10 a.m. He went home, and his condition became serious. Dr. Frengley, of ivawakawa, was summoned, and Mr. Jackson was removed to the hospital, where he passed away. His death is reported to be due to ptomaine poisoning. He is survived by Mrs. Jackson, two sons, and two daughters.
