NEW ZEALAND CUP CANDIDATE.
Minerval is going on well in his work at Riccarton, and though.he lias not been stretched out very far yet he is" putting plenty .of dash into his sprinting tasks. (He has done no racing since November, when he ran second to Fast Passage in the New Zealand Cup, but if he trains 011 lie will have to be reckoned with again in this year's Cup. He is due to have his first run this season at the Wellington sming meeting.
