PROHIBITION SUGGESTED,

A letter was received by the Auckland Harbour Board at a meeting this afternoon from the Auckland Shipping and Stevedores' Association in connection with smoking on the wharves. The association considered that to combat the practice effectually a by-law should he passed prohibiting smoking inside the wharf gates.
