Rana Wagjr, amateur golf champion of the Dominion, has announced that lie does not intend to compete at the New Zealand championship tournament, jvhich is to open at Titirangi links, Auckland, on Friday. lie won the national title at Chrietchiirch in 1931, and retained it at Heretaunga last year.
