MOONEE VALLEY MEETING. SEVERAL HORSES PLACED. MELBOUKNE, October 1. Several jSTcw Zealand-bred horses were placed at the Mooncc Valley races yesterday. Greenhorn was third in the Tullamarino Handicap, one mile; Hard Words second in the Ailsa Handicap, six furlongs; and Our Comet third in the Trial Hurdles. TENTEEDEN ' STJCCESSFTJX. ADELAIDE, October 1. The New Zealand-bred gelding Tenterden, by Chief Ruler from Koscllatc, who has hitherto figured as a sprinter, scored a surprise win in the President's Handicap, one mile and a quarter, at Morphettvillc yesterday. His time Was 2.7%.
