WARSHIPS AND SEAPLANE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

NEW PLYMOUTH, Thursday.

After the manoeuvres carried out by the Australian and New Zealand warships in Cook Strait last night and this morning, H.M.s. Diomede left for New Plymouth and arrived this evening. After the exercises the Canberra and the Australia left on their return to Australia.

A Fairey ITJ.F seaplane left New Plymouth early this morning and cooperated with the warships off Cape Farewell. Later it returned to New Plymouth.
