POWER BOAT SOCIAL.
Tlie annual meeting of the New Zealand Power Boat Association was held last evening, and was followed by an enjoyable dance, when many members and friends attended. An excellent programme was supplied by Mr. Harris, and an exhibition of the waltz and tango by Miss and Mr. Stratton added to the enjoyable evening. The commodore, Dr. C. G. Long, presented the retiring commodore, Mr. B. Spencer, with a clock set in silver, and suitably engraved, with the esteem and best wishes of the club. Among those present were: Mrs. Berridge Spencer, in coral pink suede and black fur; Mrs. J. L. Rough, prune silk net; Mrs. H. E. Simmonds, cobalt blue ninon and angel skin lace; Mrs. Edgar, black crepe de chine; Mrs. F. J. Fawcett, black and silver lame; Mrs. Leyland, black chiffon; Mrs. Sydney Smith, pink laco and ninon; Mrs. P. Handley, pastel pink satin; Mrs. Norman .Eraser, apple green beaute; Mrs. Stan Waters, white and black pin spot net over satin; Miss Ida McCook, primrose georgette; Miss Lane, pink and blue floral ninon; Miss Betty Crosbie, mustard eraquelle crepe; Miss K. Lees, black and white ninon; Miss Frankie Saunders, lacquer red crackle crepe; Miss H. Rickard, pastel pink gedrgette; Miss E. Donelly, shell pink ]%ce; Miss L. Waymouth, pastel pink ring velvet; Miss Joan Cliatman, flowered muslin; Miss C. Wain, crimson crushed velvet; Miss Ava Brooking, blue spotted organdie; Miss Palmer, shell pink eraquelle crepe; Miss M. Grey, cameo pink eraquelle crepe.
