WELLINGTON, this clay. A Soccer match between the Wellington representatives and the Australian Navy team at the Kilbirnie Stadium resulted in a win for the Jiome side by 3 goals to 2. There was a strong wind and the shocking ground spoilt the match which, although closely contested, lacked incident. The Victory Cup final was won by Seatoun, who defeated Institute by 2 goals to 1.
