Rarely in the history of gold mining in Otago has there been such interest taken by overseas capitalists as there is at present. Last week representatives of English and African gold mining companies spent a week on the Otago goldfields. From there they visited St. Batlian's and Kildare, and other claims, and on their return the Wetherstones field.
