DARGAVIIiLE REDUCTIONS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, tliis flay. At a special sitting of tlie Assessment Court. Mr. G. N. Morris, S.M., presided, with Messrs. E. G. Appleton and T. E. Jones acting as assessors. Nearly 40 objections were made to the valuation, of rural properties within the borough. A- majority of tlie objectors received reductions, which varied from 10 to 50 per cent. , The concessions will mean a loss ot about £130 in revenue from rates to the Dargaville Borough Council.
