LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP.
MISS BARNES-GRAHAM WINS.
The final of the South Auckland ladies' golf championship for the Elli6 Cup, played at Hamilton yesterday, resulted in a win for Mist* Barnes-Graham, Gisborne, who defeated Mrs. J. M. Wilson, Middlemore, 4 and 2. Miss Barnes-Graham also won the' Auckland Ladies' provincial title last week. In the semi-finals of the Ellis Cup Miss Barnes-Graham beat Miss lv. Johns, 2 and 1; Mrs. J. M. Wilson beat Mrs. F. Mander, 1 up. The final of the St. Andrews Handicap Cup was won by Miss Williams, who defeated Cook at the nineteenth.^ln the semi-finals Miss M. Cooke beat Miss M. McLean, 4 and 3, and Miss J. Williams beat Mrs. Cassidy, 6 and 4. The foursomes played over 18 holes resulted in a tie between Mrs. F. Preston and Miss Brayshaw, and Mrs. G. Bartlett and Miss A. Provis. The former panwon on the last nine holes. _ The putting competition for the three days resulted in Mrs. F. Mander winning the trophy on the first and second day, and Miss B. Hill on the third day. Ihe aggregate, for the three days resulted in a tie ibetween Mrs. Mander and Miss Hill, the latter winning on the play-off. The consolation match over 18 holes was won by Mrs. Bartlett with 74 net. NORTH SHORE LADIES' CLUB. Following is the draw for a liogey match to be played by Saturday players of tlie Xorf.li Shore Ladies' Golf Club : —Miss McDonell v. Miss Adams, Miss Corner v. Mrs. Willis, Miss Hunt v. Miss Parr, Miss Campbell v. another. Miss Hinnnel v. Miss Minns, Miss Howe v. Miss Esdaile, Miss Lewis v. Miss Devereux.
