In his reply, the Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department, Mr. G. MeNamara, allots 2720 kilocycles, approximately 110 metres. He further states that permission is granted as a temporary expedient. It is understood, however, that the Government merely reserves the right to withdraw permission if the system conflicts -with the general telegraph and toll communication of the Dominion.

The first installations will be Auckland, New Plymouth, Hawera, Wanganui, Hastings, Masterton, Wellington, Blenheim, Christchuvch, Dunedin and Invercargill.
