MANX GRAND PRIX.

AMATEUR MOTOR CYCLE RACE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, September 7. The Isle of Man Grand Prix motor cycle race was won at the fastest speed ever reached in an amateur race by H. L. Daniell, on a Norton machine, at 76.98 miles per hour. J. Swanston, second in 75.0 miles per hour, and J. Muir 75.11 miles per hour, also rode Nor tons. The race was contested over a mountain course of 226 miles.
