TOLL OF HURRICANE. Nearly 20 Deaths in Rich Texas Valley. FRUIT CROPS DEVASTATED. (United P.A.—Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 11 a.m.) EDINBURG (Texas), September 6. Eighteen are dead, 1500 injured and damage amounting to millions of dollars is tlio known toll of the tropical hurricano -which devastated the lower Rio Grande valley of Texas, one of the richest agriculture areas of the United States, on Monday night and Tuesday. Citrus growers were the heaviest losers, and sonio 90 per cent of the 12,000,000dollar crop was blown from the trees.
