DUBLIN HOTEL RAIDS. Accused Maintain Conspiracy Of Silence. SCENES OUTSIDE COURT. ("Times" Cables.) LONDON, September 6. Five young men charged with raiding Dublin public houses where English ales were sold maintained grim silence and refused to disclose their names. Seven men charged with committing a similar offence in Killarney, declined to make any statements, and a witness, who refused to identify them, was sentenced to a week in gaol for contempt of Court. Civil Guards and policemen guarded the courthouse, which a strong force of youths tried to rush. The attackers were met with a determined baton charge and repulsed. Many were injured.
