NEWMARKET HOTEL.

The quarterly meeting of the Newmarket Licensing Committee was held at noon to-day when business affecting the solitary hotel within the committee's jurisdiction was transacted. Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., presided, and had with him on the bench Messrs. Hush Wright, G. F. Court and A. Davis. The only business to come before the committee was a transfer of the Royal George Hotel from. Bruce Tudor to J. J. Moran. The police report was favourable and the transfer was granted.
