MONTEREY TO-MORROW. ASAMA MARTI LOADS. Arrivals at Auckland to-day include the steamer Asama Maru, from Noumea, to load scrap-iron for Japan at the Kind's wharf, and the motor slnp Melbourne Maru, from Japan, via Australian ports and Wellingtpn, to discharge and load at the same wharf. The latter vessel is to sail for Sydney to-morrow evening, on her return voyage to Japan. A berth at the Prince's wharf has been allotted to the passenger steamer Monterey, which is scheduled to arrive from San Francisco, via ports, to-morrow morning and sail for Sydney and Melbourne to-morrow afternoon. Due on Saturday morning, the eteamer Narbada, from Calcutta, and the motor ship Hauraki, from Los Angeles, are both to discharge at the Prince's wharf. ARRIVALS.— Yesterday. The Westport Coal Co.'s steamer Canopus arrived yesterday afternoon from Westport via New Plymouth, and berthed at the Western wharf. The Nobel schooner Hnia is to load explosives at Tamaki this afternoon and sail for Melbourne to-morrow. The motor ship Port Waikato arrived from Southern ports this morning and is discharging at the Central wharf. She is to go into dock to-morrow for cleaning and painting and sail for Bluff at 5 p.m. on Monday. r The motor ship Port Whangarei arrived from Southern ports this morning, to discharge at the Central wharf. She is to sail at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington, Plcton, Blenheim, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. WARNING TO MARINERS. Shipping is advised that the Australian and New Zealand warships are carrying out day and night firing practice in the Haurakl Gulf to-day and to-morrow. THE ASAMA MA-RTT.
