SEARCH IN BUSH.
POLICE PARTY AT OWHANGO. A police party comprising Sergeant iSivyer, in charge of tlie Taumarunui police, Detective J. Walsh, of Wanganui, and other constables and detectives, is searching the dense hush near Owhango for a suspect, who is believed to be hiding. The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Wohlmann, this morning asVed Superintendent Till, of Auckland, to assist the Tanmarunui police in the search, and three constables were dispatched by the 3 o'clock express this afternoon.
