YACHTING.

NEW RONA CLASS BOAT. W. Rogers, of Curran Street, Ponsonby, nstfs made a start to build a new 14-footer to the Rona plans. She will carry locallymade sails, which are already finished, ™.™ conform in every respect to the 1923 plans. Evidently her owner, who sailed Rangi at the last contest for the banders Cup at Lyttelton, has visions of again competing for this cup. The new boat cannot be recognised as an Aucklander challenger by the local association, as the 1923 (Rona) plans have been superseded by the 1932 plan.
