DEATH IN THE WAIKATO. MR. J. T. HAWKS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Mr. J. T. Hawke, reputedly one of the wealthiest residents of Hamilton, died to-day. He was formerly connected with extensive tea plantations in India and Ceylon. Mr. Hawko, who was a prominent member of the Roman Catholic Church, leaves'a large family.
