AUCKLAND HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY SHOW.

Readers are reminded that tho spring show of the above society is to bo held in tho Town Hall on September 7 and 8. Primarily a show of narcissi, it is by no means confined to that flower, and every spring flower is represented. The hail storm of the last week will have dashed many hopes, nevertheless it was not severo everywhere, and those who were lucky enough to escape, should make every effort to fill up any vacancies. There is no depression in the garden. Flowers bob up and show a bright face a few hours after a storm and all signs of it are soon gone. If you would like to see something unaffected by any "world depression" or "badtime" feeling, visit the Daffodil Show.
