WORLD CONFERENCE. Reconvening When U.S. Settles Her Troubles. CANADIAN PREMIER'S VIEW. (United P.A.—Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 10.30 a.m.) OTTAWA, August 31. The proposal to ban Russian lumber from Britain under Article 21 of the Ottawa agreement, is still under consideration, but no decision lias yet been reached, according: to the Prime Minister, Mr. It. B. Bennett, in a statement as he landed from Britain. Without doubt the World Economic Conference would 'be reconvened either in whole or part he thought, predicting that it would take place when the United States had so adjusted her domestic conditions as to permit it to consider world problems more- intimately.
