HOUSEBREAKING CHARGE.
TWO MEN FOB TRIAL. John Patrick Bryant (27), motor mechanic, and Frederick McKean Webster (25), labourer, appeared in the Police Court this afternoon, each being charged with breaking and entering the dwelling of Harry Woods, Hobson Street, and stealing jewellery, clothing and a cheque book, of the total value of £37 8/. _ , After considerable evidence had been heard both accused, for whom Mr. W. Xoble appeared, pleaded not guilty, and were committed for trial in the Supreme| Court. |
