(Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, August 30. , Gold is quoted at £6 8/SVi per ounce. LONDON TALLOW MARKET. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, August 30. At the London tallow sales 716 barrels were offered and 314 sold. Inferior was 6d lower, others unchanged. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office, under date 30th instant:—Tallow: There is a fair demand. Current quotations: Good mutton, 24/ per cwt; good beef, 21/6 to 22/ per cwt; good mixed, 21/6 to 22/; gut, 17/6 to 19/6.
