NEW SIRE ARRIVES.

Magnus, a stallion by The Tetrarch from Princess Dorrie, by Your Majesty from Doris, arrived from London yesterday by the Rangitata. He was acquired by Sir Charles Clifford from his cousin. Captain Charles Moore, of Tipperary, Ireland, and is to take up stud duty at Sir Chas. Clifford's stud, Stonyhurst, North Canterbury. Chief Ruler and Tea Tray, who have both proved successful at the stud in New Zealand, are by The Tetrarch. Magnus was bred by Mr. J. B. Joel, and bis dam. Princess Dorrie won the One 'XliotSffind Guineas and. Oaks in Mr. Joel's . in 1914.
