TRUTH STRANGER THAN FICTION
Christchurch Merchant's Experience.
A well-known Chriatchurch merchant was discussing advertising with a business friend. They were reviewing the methods of the most successful advertisers when the friend remarked: Take Baxter's Lung Preserver, for instance, there is no doubt about the superioi ity of the line, but I often wonder if the anecdotes we read about 'Baxter s are all true." "Well," said the merchant, if you were to read about a man who attended his own wedding ceremony with a bottle of 'Baxter's' in his pocket it may sound far-fetched, but that is what actually happened to me. I was suffering with bronchitis at the time, and 'Baxter s' was an absolute necessity. That was 30 years ago, and I have always had 'Baxter's' in the house V-yer since."

For bronchitis and all bronchial ailments "Baxter's" is the ideal remedy. Asthma sufferers also find "Baxter's" a fyooii; its tonic properties are also always t»^»reciated. For coughs and colds, big and small, pfn your faith to "Baxter's." Sold in three sizes, 4/6, 2/6 and 1/6, at all .chemists and stores.-—*( Ad.)
