STOLE RIM AND TYRE.

When charged with the theft of a tyre, rim, and tube of a value of £5, the property of some unknown person, Lionel George Hood, aged 35, who appeared in the Police Court this morning, pleaded guilty.

Detective-Sergeant O'Sullivan said Hood took the tyre, rim, and tube from a van in the city yesterday and later offered it for sale in a shop. So far the police had not been able to trace the owner. ,

Hood was remanded until Friday next for sentence.
