TECHNICAL COLLEGE
The board of the Seddon Memorial Technical College met yesterday aftcrncon, Mr. J. A. C. Allum presiding.
Tenders are to be called, to close on September (5, for the erection of additional accommodation. Tliey will include a library, covered playground, agricultural laboratory, agricultural mechanics' workshop, and improved accommodation for the staff.
A letter from the Technical Education Association stating that no annual meeting would be held this year unless the board had special business to discuss was approved.
An offer from the Mount Albert Grammar School of the use of two acres at the school farm for agriculture students of the Technical College was accepted as a temporary measure.
