FOOTBALL CARNIVAL.
WAITEMATA "QUEEN" CHOSEN
The Waitemata Rugby Football Club has just completed, a successful qneen carnival campaign in aid o£ the clubs finances. .. There were three candiclates-MioS Rachael Bussey, representing the Hendci?on areaf Ml£ Betty Robertson, representing the Swanson area, and Mise Olga YeZ?representing the Henderson Valley. During the campaign, however, Mise Yellas withdrew. Miss Robertson was declared queen ot the club with a large percentage of the votes. Her success was largely due to the efforts of her committee, who, with so email a residential area to work in, is to ™e congratulated on the. succese achieved. . A total of £92 .was taken, of which the Swanson committee contributed £40, Henderson £35, and the Hendereon 'Valley £17.
