"FAITHFUL SERVICE."

TRIBUTE TO MR. C. A. SEMADENL A tribute to the late Mr. G. A. Semadeni, whose death occurred last week, was paid by the chairman of the Auckland Education Board, Mr. T. U. Wells, at a meeting of the board this morning. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Semadeni was headmaster at the Edendale School.

"He was one of our most highly respected and esteemed teachers," said Mr. Wells. "He gave long and faithful service to this hoard, and it seems only the other day that we were wishing him happiness in his retirement."

It was decided that a letter of sympathy should be sent to the late. Mr. Semadeni's relatives. ,',-_* ....._.
