Notice is hereby given fnat the Auckland City Council proposes, at a Special Meeting, to be hold on FRIDAY, the 14th day of JULY, llioM, at IU Noon, to consider the confirmation of the following resolution relating to the borrowing of the sum of £138.700 for the Relief of Unemployment, passed at a Special Meeting of the Council held on the 4th day of July. 1933—

"That in pursuance and exercise of Hie powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1920. and its amendments, the Local Authorities Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 192(1, and its amendments, and the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and the Regulations thereunder, aad all other powers enabling it in that behalf the Auckland City Council now resolves to raise when and as required a Loan of £133.700 for the purpose of carrying out the following works for the relief of unemployment:— £ £ City Stonmvater Drainage 30,000 Mount Hobson Reservoir . 14,."i00 Reconditioning of Waitakcre Pipe Line 65,000 79, .100 Alterations and Renovations to Victoria Arcade, Queen St 8,000 Alterations and Renovations to 20 Shops in Karangahape I!d 4,200 Campbells Point Reserve 2,530 Rock facing and improvement to batters. Any person having any objection to the raising of the proposed loan is called upon to submit same in writing to the Town Clerk not later than the day preceding the said meeting. .T. S.
