MR. ALBERT B. DORE.

0 Mr. Albert Beresford Dore, senior, a member of the technical staff of the bacteriological laboratory of the Wellington Hospital, who died recently in that institution aged 40 years, was married to the youngest daughter of the late Mr. Robert and Mrs. Mary Ralph, of Huntly, who survives her husband. There is no family. The interment took place at Huntly, the Masonic service being conducted at the grave. Mr. Dore, who had been a prominent member of the staff of the bacteriological laboratory for the past 20 years, including the period when the laboratory was under the direct control of the Health Department, did conspicuously fine work during the epidemies of cerebrospinal meningitis, influenza, and infantile paralysis. In addition, he had the responsibility of preparing large supplies of vaccina lymph required in connection with the smallpox" epidemic. For the past 10 years he had b?en senior technician of the laboratory.
