PRIZES FOR PARAGRAPHS.

YOUR FUTURE VOCATION. Boys and girls should always endeavour to keep an eye to the future, for as the preparations they make while they are young, so will be their happiness in later life. As Peter Pan remarks in his letter to-day, boys and girls who slip into "back-alley" jobs when they leave school, usually are discontented later on. The wise boys and girls to-day will consider carefully the task that they wish to be their life's work, for knowing the type of work in which you want to be engaged is half the battle of making good in your job.

To-day competitors are asked to write a short paragraph stating what they want to be when they grow up, and giving the reasons -why they 'want to be so employed.

Prizes of 7/6, 5/, 3/ and 2/6.
