PHOSPHATE SUBSIDY.
EXTENSION LIKELY. NEGOTIATIONS FOR RENEWAL. (By'Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Negotiations are taking place between the manufacturers of superphosphate and tlie Government on the question of renewal of the existing subsidy of 8/10 a ton 011 superphosphate used and sold ill certain fertiliser mixtures. The subsidy expires on Saturday and, pending the completion of negotiations, it is believed that the Government will temporarily extend the subsidy until July 10.
