SUCCESSFUL DANCE
The first big dance tliis season of the Grey Lynn Bowling Club was held on Monday at the Mayfair Cabaret, Karangaliape Road. The futuristic decorations and the hundreds of multi-coloured balloons gave a bright atmosphere to the cabaret. Popular and old-time melodies were rendered by the cabaret orchestra. Phyllis Oakes and Zelda Pykc, two juvenile tap-dancers, gave an exhibition. The supper arrangements were in the hands of the ladies' .committee, and it was served at the tables and cubicles of the cabaret. Those on the ladies' committee were: —Mesdames Gadd, AV. Curtis, C.
