DROUGHT-STRICKEN AREA'S. - SYDNEY, Juno 23. Splendid rain lias fallen, or is falling, throughout New South Wales, particularly over the wheat belt and grazing areas. Some of the southern and western areas already have had a fall of an inch and a half, which will allay anxiety and assure winter feed for live stock. Parts of the south coast are drenched and the danger of floods is imminent. Opportune rain is reported from Queensland. It will afford immediate relief to the drought-stricken grazing areas. The southern and south-western sections of that State have greatly benefited.
