HEVISION AT BIRKENHEAD

Tlic water charges at Birkenhead have been reviewed by the Borough Council with a-view to removing anomalies, particularly iu respect to fruitgrowers' supplies. Alterations have been decided upon with a view to a more equitable system of payment in accoidance with the quantity used. The new charges, are expected to yield about the same total revenue as was formerly collected from water consumers.
